If you have a Sony VAIO laptop like I do, be careful before you buy this monitor. I got this Samsung monitor just this morning, and couldn't get it to work with my laptop. I called Samsung customer service, they tried to help me set it up, but no luck. They said I need to contact my laptop manufacturer. Since I'm about to switch to a Mac next Monday anyway, I think I'll just give this Samsung monitor a chance with my new Mac next Monday.
But if you're still using your Sony VAIO, I'll strongly suggest NOT getting monitor. It might just not work at all. (I also find many discussions online about Sony VAIO/nVidia not working with Samsung monitors.)

Last year I bought the wife a 24" Samsung. I loved it so much I bought myself a new T260 HD Samsung 25.5" Touch of Color. I have nothing bad to say.. Great picture, Very happy with my Samsung choice.
Amazon has the best prices. I prefer the 25.5" over the 24" but both are great HDTV-Monitors. No more squinting to see the screen...

I have this monitor for my G5 and my PS3...Works great for both, but better for the PS3. I notice some of the colors are a little off when working with the G5 but nothing bad. Maybe its just from switching from the PS3 to the Apple something gets lost in the color translation. I would've thought the other way around but it works perfectly in my home office.

For the price it's a great monitor. But I've had to have mine replaced twice - once when I got a vertical band of picture interference, and just now when the picture just disappeared for periodic white flashes. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the virtual power button on the front panel - I can never reliably make it work so I never turn it off.
For service, make sure that you get the advanced exchange option so that they advance ship you a monitor in exchange for a hold on your credit card, and you drop your old monitor in the box and drop it off at UPS.
I want to love it. I want to buy a 2nd one. But two replacements in one year is a red flag for me...

I love this monitor/HDTV the reason why I bought this monitor/HDTV was because its 1080p Certified, It has vibrant colors and the blacks are okay.....
The only cons that I have with this monitor is that Samsung failed to include the Vesa mounting bracket, which you have to buy separately at $56 including shipping....
